We have a new role just in for a Nutrition Sales Rep for Munster -

This is a Community based role and the territory to be covered is Cork, Limerick and Kerry.

It is a 1 Year Fixed Term contract -

Role purpose -

Drive the Nutrition Business in Ireland within the market, promoting the company product range to community health care professionals. 
Consolidating their position as market leader in a number of disease specific areas.
Build relationships with a wide range of health care professionals in the community including nursing homes nurses, public health nurses, practice nurses, GPs and retail pharmacists.

Responsibilities -

Responsible for driving product sales on community territory

Responsible for hitting activity targets with key HCPs (Health Care Professionals).
Responsible for managing relationships with HCP’s on community territory.
Liaise with wholesalers to ensure maximum product availability
Liaise with head office staff to ensure successful implementation of marketing  campaigns
Help to organise successful HCP educational meetings and study days.

Essential Requirements -

“ Degree in Science or
“ Degree in Human Nutrition/Dietetics or
“ Nursing Qualification

“ Excellent presentation skills
“ Good reporting writing skills
“ An aptitude for selling
“ A keen interest in nutrition
“ Computer literacy in Microsoft Office, Word and PowerPoint
“ At least 1-2 years sales experience in a pharmaceutical or health care role
“ Must be able to demonstrate success in developing relationships with key medical personnel

Package on offer -

Salary; €38,000

Bonus: 15%

 The TM (Territory Manager)is responsible for driving the territory sales performance and ensuring optimum outcomes with Wound Care products both for patients & clinicians through a combination of the following

• Execution of direct promotional activities such as one-one calls & group presentations/meetings with the main customer groups - surgical teams, key nursing & finance personnel
• Delivering a product specialist service by educating all stakeholders on the optimum use, clinical & economic benefits of the wound care products  
• The TM will be fully involved in supporting the seamless transfer of patients from the acute to the home setting ensuring that all stakeholders have the necessary procedural & clinical know how to ensure optimum treatment outcomes for the patient.
• Executing all duties to the highest standard in line with the Company marketing strategy and company policies & procedures

Experience required -

• Professional Nursing qualification

• Previous clinical experience in wound care viewed favorably

• 2-3 years Medical Device Sales in Ireland

• Previous experience of educating through group presentations via power point

Salary approx €26,000 per annum for the 3 days.
Job Title    
Operating Room (OR) Product Specialist - Part Time
(Specific Purpose Contract for Maternity Cover)

This successful candidate will work with the OR Team in the development of the Deltex Oesophageal Doppler Monitor (ODM).  Your role will be to coordinate and carry out clinical trials and support existing business with the ODM and the wider OR product portfolio, in conjunction with the Commercial Manager. 

This is a part-time role - 3 days per week.

 The OR Team’s Customer Base is over 32 counties and it is anticipated that this role will focus on a number of key accounts that have been identified such as Dublin, Galway, Cork and Belfast.

 
Basic Requirements: 
“ Minimum 3 years plus of progressive relevant work experience in a clinical environment
“ Knowledge and experience in cardiac/anaesthetic nursing or ICU a distinct advantage.
“ Experience in account management
“ Excellent interpersonal skills
“ Self starter/demonstrates initiative
“ Flexible with a positive attitude to change
“ Proven attention to detail and follow through
“ A clean, full driving license (Mileage allowance applicable)
Key Skills:

“ Support existing business through on-going clinical education and product training to customers, to educate them to an independent level of competence and confidence.
“ Assist in developing education programmes relating to customer and company requirements and provide reference materials where appropriate.
“ Keep up to date on market and product developments
“ Communicate effectively with the Commercial Manager, the customer care team and other departments as required.
“ Have the ability to influence customers to participate in clinical trials, carry out trials and present findings in a clear and precise way to the key decision makers; Customer, Commercial Manager/Director.
“ Promote the use of the Deltex ODM to increase revenue.
“ Be flexible in your approach, as due to the nature of the OR business, you may be required to work with the wider OR portfolio as requested.
“ Foster a teamwork approach with all colleagues to achieve business goals
“ Update / upkeep of records as required

Over 60% of interviewees do not answer the question asked!

Listen to the questions askedMedical Sales Managers are frustrated at the fact that a staggering over 60% if interviewees do not answer the question asked at Medical Sales interviews.

This can be put down to nerves as our listening skills don’t tend to be so fine tuned when we are hyper ventilating, perspiring or only hearing our heart beat in our head.

However, not good enough!

 

It is a simple yet vital tip to remember when attending for a Medical Sales interview to slow down and listen.

When questions are asked, it is advised to count to three before you answer.

This increases the possibility of fully taking in the questions asked rather then knee jerking a response.

It is also advised to ask and clarify the question asked if you are in any way unsure.

Take your time, breathe slowly and deeply.

Nobody ever got rejected at interview stage for taking their time to answer questions

However, people do get rejected at interview stage  far too often for poor listening skills and not answering the question aksed.

Remember - an interview is a sales process and if is it for a Medical Sales job, you can be sure the Manager is assessing your listening/communication skills to see what kind of a Sales person you are.

It is an astonishing yet important fact to remember that over 60% of interviewees do not answer the questions asked, if it is something we are aware of, we can do something about it.
