We have a new job in for an Infant Nutrition Sales Rep for Cork/Waterford for a 6-9 month contract –
 Infant Nutrition Representative 

 Temporary Position
Division Baby Nutrition
Location Cork
Travel Field based covering Cork, Waterford, Wexford, Carlow, Kilkenny, South Tipperary, Kildare, Wicklow
Purpose (Key areas of role)

• Drive the  business in Ireland to grow market share.
• Maintain reputation in Ireland through excellence in the provision of nutritional and technical support whilst promoting the  product range in Ireland
• Build relationships with health care professionals, hospital and community, including midwives, Neonatal Nurses, paediatric Nurses, hospital Dietitians, Paediatricians, Neonatologists, Public Health Nurses, Practice Nurses, General Practitioners, Occupational Health Nurses and Pharmacies.
• Manage business in key accounts, whilst identifying opportunities to further grow the business

• Responsible for driving product sales through Medical Channel in Territory.
• Manage relationships with HCPs in key centres
• Liaise with United Drug and local wholesalers to ensure maximum product availability
• Organise successful HCP meetings
• Give Professional Product Presentations to HCP groups

• Health care professionals working in the area of infant Nutrition (0 – 3 years)
• Distributors and wholesalers
• Nutrition and Medical Marketing
•  INR counterparts


• To provide nutritional and technical support on the product range to:
– Hospital Midwives
– Hospital Neonatal Nurses
– Hospital Paediatric Nurses
– Hospital and Community  based Dietitians
– Hospital and community based Paediatricians
– Hospital based Paediatricians and Neonatologists
– Hospital and community based Pharmacists
– Community nurses, including  Public Health Nurses and Practice Nurses
– Hospital stores/pharmacies responsible for nutritional products
– Distributors and Wholesalers

• Sales calls may be via one to one meetings, group meetings and presentations, and regularly involve provision of breakfast/lunch
• Maintain professionalism at all times to maintain  reputation, especially in key accounts
• Use brick level and hospital sales data to maximise productivity
• Exhibit  product range at relevant HCP meetings
• Identify new customers/opportunities to grow the business
• Feed back relevant information to head office to help maintain competitive edge
• Liaise with United Drug and other wholesalers to ensure maximum product availability
• Attend Bi monthly Sales Meetings and Annual Workshop
• Maintain record of sales activity and keep electronic territory Management System up to date. Complete annual territory plan and update regularly
• To continue to up date Hospital/Institution files with contacts and their details in the Delta System


• Excellent presentation skills are required
• Must be able to demonstrate success in developing relationships with key medical personnel
• Good reporting writing skills
• Some Computer literacy in Microsoft Office, Word and PowerPoint

Degree in Human Nutrition/Dietetics/Science

Midwifery or Nursing Qualification

• Strong organisational and event management skills
