Salary:                                €60k plus €24k bonus – full benefits package

The successful candidate will need previous experience in managing people, they will be managing a very diverse team with different personalities, and so they will need to adapt their management style accordingly.

This team is very successful and coaching is not required.
The candidate will not have their own localised territory, they will be responsible for assisting the Medical sales reps obtain new business and maintaining the number in their territories, assist with the day to day running of the team, manage any issues that arise, stock, expenses etc.

Job Description
We are currently looking to recruit a Field Sales Manager for our PMR Division in
Ireland/Northern Ireland. The ideal candidate should be highly motivated, ambitious and dedicated;
with the ability and drive to grow within the existing business and develop new business. The
candidate must be dynamic with strong leadership skills and be able to adapt and drive a high
functioning successful team.
Key Responsibilities are not limited to but will include:
• Generate and manage profitable division, ensuring the team delivers agreed quarterly and
annual sales targets
• Develop and manage relationships with KOL’s, including a range of senior health
professionals and key suppliers
• Coach, motivate and develop the capabilities of the sales team
• Take leadership from Line Manager of the sales strategy and drive its implementation
• Ability to explore new clients, market potential and business opportunities
• Ensure that all activities are undertaken in line with the overall requirements of the
company sales plan and sale objectives
• Keep up to date on market and product developments allied to the industry and keep
representatives and management fully informed
• To follow company procedures and attend all courses, seminars and training sessions as
deemed necessary
• Actively gather market intelligence and information related to competitor activities
• Seek and evaluate new product ideas, providing adequate information and facilitate ongoing
communication
• Assist in product evaluations and/or clinical studies as appropriate
• Work closely and effectively with the sales team and with support functions in
order to provide the best possible service to the customer and the patient
• Participate in trade shows, training and marketing activities as set out by our Product
Manager
• Assist with the contracts/tender process for all Key Accounts when necessary
• Prioritise objectives and schedule work to make best use of time and resources
• Maintain accurate records for the territory
Key Requirements
• Experience of managing a Medical Sales Team is necessary
• Product or Procedural knowledge in medical devices is required
• Proven sales calibre, sales growth driven
• Ability to meet with customers and other decision makers
• Ability to travel frequently throughout assigned territory
• Ability to travel abroad for training
• Flexible hours to accommodate surgical cases
• Excellent numerical skills and a problem solver using data
• Good negotiator with ability to sell across multiple specialties
• Highly developed interpersonal, networking and influencing skills
• Ability to work effectively and cooperatively with others
• Proven experience in managing pressure, deadlines and setbacks efficiently while
maintaining commitment despite opposition
• Excellent written, communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft® Office
• Excellent organisational skills
• Strong personal drive
• Full Clean Driver’s license
